CREAMY KIRI
Although she became a popular singer as a teenager in the 1960s and sang well into the aughts, Kiri Te Kanawa was the leading soprano of 1980s. After her Let The Bright Seraphim was broadcast to millions and millions at the 1981 royal wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer, she became a superstar and released dozens of recordings in every style imaginable. Her career spanned well into the CD era, so only the first half of her recording career is vinyl.
